Short answer is that I have no idea where he is buried. According to the book "A Scythe of Fire", Sgt. Maxey took a direct hit by an artillery round and after all was said and done, only his lower half could be found and identified by his pants and boots. I'm assuming what was left of his remains was buried in a mass grave at Gettysburg.
