He was transferred out on 3/8/1862
On 3/8/1862 he transferred into "D" Co. GA 25th Infantry
He died of disease on 1/1/1863 at Wilmington, NC
(Died, typhoid fever)

Tertian [sp?], resident of Sylvaute [sp?], “came to Hospital to nurse a sick friend, walked to the Barbers late in the evening, shaved, returned and died before 12 o’clock of the day of his arrival. An Adjutant General, War Department note to the Georgia Commissioners of Pensions, dated May 18, 1915 found no record of him in either the 5th or 15th Georgia Infantry

I, 5th Georgia Infantry and Sergt. Co. K, 25th Ga. Inf.
