This apparently refers to:

Walden for 3 years, wounded June 17, 1864, admitted Episcopal Church Hospital, Williamsbug, Va., Vulnus Contusum, transferred to Petersburg, Va. hospital June 19, 1864, admitted Howard’s Grove hospital, Richmond, Va. July 31, 1864, 36 year old Farmer, gunshot wound involving of femur, opening knee joint, died July 2, 1864

* Six companies of the 2nd Battalion and four companies of the 4th Battalion Hillard’s Legion, Alabama Volunteers,were consolidated November 25, 1863 to form the 59th Regiment Alabama Infantry
