Yes, he was re-buried in that Screven County Cemetery. The person who had him removed had the stone cleaned and reset. We are very sad about this, as his wife
was left behind and neither would have wanted to be seperated like this. In the old Mallory Cemetery, where is used to be, we have set a stone to mark his wife's grave, as it was just beside him, unmarked, but lined with bricks. The Mallory Community north of Madison is where he was born, raised, married and died...and served in the CW with a regiment formed out of that county. Screven is NOT where he should be.
