John Lewis Butler Tench

John Lewis Butler Tench. Served as a Confederate Soldier. My Great, Great, Great,Great Grandfather I believe. My Mom can tell you who he was. But this is my direct relative to being connected to having family in the civil war.

John Lewis Butler Tench served with the Confederate Army with " 11th. Georgia Cav. Youngs Battn. Militia C.S.A." and is buried at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery on Pea Ridge Rd, off Hwy. 105, west of Cornelia in Habersham County, Georgia with his second wife, Sallie Forrester Tench. Sallie drew a pension from his Confederate Service after his death. She applied in Habersham County, Georgia The location of his first wife's grave is not known.

I would like to know if anyone knows which company he was in or any battles he was specifically in or where I could find this information.

Thank You All.
