Morrison’s Regiment, Georgia Cavalry,* volunteered April 19, 1862 at Tallapossa, Harrollson County, Ga. for 3 years or the war, $50 bounty paid, captured September 11, 1862 at Shelbyville Ky., received at Camp Chase, Ill. prison September 26, 1862, age 23, 5’ 8”, blue eyes, dark hair, light complexion, exchanged September 29, 1862 and transferred to Cairo, Ill., delivered to Confederate authorities near Vicksburg, Miss. on board Steamer Emerald, November 1, 1862, no further records

* This company subsequently became Company H, 1st Regiment Georgia Cavalry
