I am working of a detailed study of this regiment. I need primary source material dealing with their organization in early 1861 and up until the regiment is formed at Walton Spring in Atlanta on 3 July on the:
Company A – Gainesville Light Infantry (Hall County)
Company D – Gilmer Boys (Gilmer County)
Company E – Fannin Young Riflemen (Fannin County)
Company F – Mrs. Joe Brown’s Boys (Fannin County)
Company G – Beauregard Rifles (Catoosa County)

I have been researching on the units that comprised Bartow's/S. Jones'/D. R. Jones'/G. T. Anderson's Brigade since 1992. I have a great deal of information, but gaps remain. Any assistance on primary source material you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
