That is strange because a cousin of mine says she has the "discharge papers" of James T. Flanigan. I asked her to send me a copy of what she has. There were no discharge papers from the confederate army were there? They just surrendered or just went home if they had a home. I did see an original of parole papers for one of the three brothers James, William or Henry Flanigan, but my sister has it for the last 20 years and we don't talk anymore. Is there a parole for Archer Avary of Cobb's Legion?
