Re: References to Manuscripts on CSRs

Thank you very much for all of the information about my question concerning manuscripts. There are two CSR cards for an A. Avery found in the Miscellaneous section of the Confederate records I saw on Fold3. One of these cards states to see Manuscript No. 5350; Augusta, GA; Oct 30, 63 and the other one states to see Manuscript No. 5352; Augusta, GA; Oct 16, 63. There was a Private A. Avery in company A of Cobb’s Legion Cavalry Battalion and I believe the two cards in the Misc section may have been for the same soldier, even though the second card (there are only two) listed for Pvt. Avery found under Cobb’s Legion shows he didn’t enlist until 1 Oct 1864. I was trying to find more info for John King, who posted a query on this board about his ancestor by the name of Archer Avery on 2/20/2015 (see http://www.history-sites.com/cgi-bin/bbs62x/gacwmb/webbbs_config.pl?page=1;md=read;id=14645). Thanks again!
