I may be talking to myself but I used "Find a Grave" and found Archer Avary and what looks like a sister of his who died as an infant. Find a Grave is free. I found Archer Avary's grave site. The grave shows he died in 1937 and the grave stone says he was a soldier of the confederacy. He must have been almost 100 years old. Find a Grave also says he was wounded in the war? The dates are all correct. I am wondering how I can contact some of his relatives? I believe his sister may have married into the Flanigan family and that is how I am related. They would not know me from Adam but it might interest them. My great grandmother lived with Archer Avary in 1880 as a ten year old.
