My great, great uncle was James Flanigan, brother of Henry H. Flanigan. Henry did enlist in 63rd Georgia regiment, but I cannot find date on James Flanigan. He served in another Ga. outfit about the same time as Henry. Is Ancestry.com the best way to find something on him? I have so little info on any of my relations that I don't even know for sure who Henry's father was who would be my Great X 3 grandfather except he was living near Augusta, GA when the war started. He may have lived in Duffie, GA if there is such a place anymore. They were small farmers.
