Army of Northern Virginia General Order No. 87 *PIC*

Hello all,
In researching my GGgrandfather, James Wiley Castleberry of G Company of the 60th Georgia,
I have come across a card that says "Court Martial Gen. Orders No. 87 HQ Dept. Northern Va"
dated 21 August 1863. I absolutely cannot figure this out. He joined at age 14, was wounded
at Fredericksburg 13 Dec. 1862 and wounded again, twice (in hip, in thigh) at the Wilderness
May 1864, and was paroled at Appomattox. Another card shows him Present Sept.-Oct of 1863.
It must have been a minor infraction? What is Gen. Order 87? After the war, he named a son
John B. Gordon Castleberry, after his Brigade Commander....thanks for any assistance.
