You are correct. Helen is a beautiful place. It is also where the Chattahoochee river originates. Helen has been built to resemble an Alpine village. I attended Truett McConnell College at Cleveland, Ga (Near Helen)
in 1952-1953 and Helen consisted of a small ladies hose knitting factory
l and one service station and a small grocery store. Probably less than 2000 population.

This would be an excellent time to visit. The leaves are very colorful and extremely beautiful. The ladies and the children would certainly enjoy an unusual shopping trip.
