David Turner and family moved to Campbell County, Georgia in about 1847. In this family were 7 sons and I have accounted for 2 of them but have failed to find any information on William, born in 1838 in SC, James Henry, born in 1845 in SC, and John A., born about 1847 in Georgia after the 1860 census where they were listed. David Turner had another son Perry Turner who was a member of Co. K, 41st Regiment Georgia Vol. Infantry who died in Baldwin, Mississippi in 1862. Family oral history indicate the the other three boy were in the Confederate Army but never came home when the war ended. If any one has any information on these three - William Turner, James Henry Turner, and John Turner, please let me know.
