Re: Exchanged Battalion - Cahaba AL

Could be that my memory is wrong; I see records of only one Exchanged Battalion with six companies. For example, Co "F" was composed of consolidated companies of the 49th Alabama. These men were on provost guard duty at Cahaba, some as late as Dec 31, 1864.
