Does anyone know if there are any casualty lists published anywhere for the 18th GA Infantry Regiment for the months of June, July, August or September of 1864? I'm trying to find out exactly what happened to one of my great-great grandfathers, John L. Worsham, of company C. He never made it back home after the war. According to his compiled military service record, he was captured in 1864, but I have never been able to find proof (other than his cmsr) that he was actually a POW. According to a copy of a note I have written by one of his sons, he was killed during the hotter part of the year in 1864, which contradicts the POW statement. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
