In Chandler's The Confederate Records of the State of Georgia, Volume 2, pg 208 it refers to the call of Gov. Brown for 12,000 troops in Feb. 1862. On this page it says that "the following is the quota apportioned to the several counties, together with the number who responded to the call from each....". Afterwards it lists the apportioned breakdown by county, but there is not a listing of the response of the counties that I can see. Can someone help point me to where the reponse is broken down? I hope I am not just looking over it.....
