Anyone familiar with Company C 13th GA?

According to the 3rd Maryland Cavalry CMSR's William J. Clements said on his Volunteer Oath of Enlistment papers that he was from Henry County, Georgia. It was also noted that he was a Confederate POW and enlisted on August 25, 1863 at Baltimore, Maryland and was mustered into Company H 3rd Maryland Cavalry (Union)

However, as far as I can see there was only one William J. Clements from Henry County Georgia and he was with Company C 13th Regiment, Georgia Infantry and he was killed on July 1, 1863 at Gettysburg. Although he has no Confederate enrollment records on his CMSR's it is noted that he was from Henry County, Georgia.

It appears that another soldier from Company C 13th Georgia used his name to become a galvanized Yankee in the 3rd Maryland Cavalry. Is anyone familiar enough with Company C to know of any unaccounted soldiers at Gettysburg? It may be as simple as a soldier in Company C deserting at Gettysburg and not heard from again.
