The Military Order of The Stars and Bars (MOS&B) has just launched a new public blog that provides a daily capsule of actions that occurred throughout the South on each day starting with July 24 1862 . As stated in the 7/25/12 entry: "The small encounters don’t receive the attention they deserve but keep in mind, if you are killed in a small skirmish that history has forgotten, you are still just as dead as if you had participated in Pickett’s Charge at Gettysburg " .
