I agree with Alan, however, in this case, it appears he had brothers or cousins in the regiment. One died at the same time as
Napoleon.

It is quite possible the surviving member may have escorted the other two back home for burial. It would also depend on distance
to their home town. And also their financial circumstances. Otherwise, they would have been buried locally.

I have not been able to find these fellows on the 1860 census to determine their residence, nor do I know where the regiment was located
when they died. Records show Company A was at Brandy Station the end of October 1862.

Napoleon B. Sydnor, enlisted April 3, 1862 at Farnham Church, admitted to the General Hospital, Charlottesville, Va., November 9, 1862, pneumonia, died November 15

Also in Company K were

Thomas Sydnor, Private, enlisted December 7, 1861/February 24, 1862 at Farham Church

William Sydnor, enlisted October 24, 1861, recorded absent sick September 15, 1862, died of disease on or about November 15, 1862, location not given
