Hubbard Pryor, 44th USCT

Searching for letters, journals, and other personal documents referencing the life and military service of Pvt. Hubbard D. Pryor, who served in Company A of the Forty-fourth U.S. Colored Infantry. A slave in Polk County, Georgia, he escaped and joined the Union army in 1864. He lived in Texas after the war.
