Thanks to both of you gentlemen who responded. George Washington Walters (nee Waters) was my Great-Grandfather. He was shot in the chest at Antietam (Sharpsburg) and sent home to die. Obviously he survived and he joined his brother Charles when he recovered. I'm trying to write an account of his post-war experiences, but needed to know what company he served with after the Doles/Cook Brigade. Thanks again. Zack
