Hi Hope, I've found no record of Washington Barley in any of the muster roll records I've looked through, even in those that are partial records on the miscellaneous roll. His wife's pension record wasn't on fold3 when I first went through them a few years ago but is there now. The pension card indicates that he was a Lieutenant which seems highly unlikely with absolutely no record of his service. An interesting puzzle. My book should be published this year. It is finished, I'm just editing now. Sorry I can't be of more help. Sharon
