Re: 1st Florida Cavalry - William Jackson

Hi George,
I found the service records on Fold3 - and they are dificult to read. I was very surprized when you said there
were two children, I did not read that in those online records.
Lucretia, and the son William (Greenberry) were in the 1860 census with her family the Gilletts. She and William are listed as Jacksons.
As for William, I am at a loss. I found a William, no age given, in Leon county at the Charis PLantation. Other than that enmeration, I cannot find and of his family members, listed in the 1850 census in Hamilton County, FL. I know the father, Benjamin died in the early 1850s.
I cannot locate any of William's brothers or sisters in 1860, nor his mother. Mary Campbell Jackson.
My husband and I are travelling to Somerest this weekend to visit the battle site there. He is very excited
I would very much like the name of the site that I could get the service records from.
Tammy
