Great news, Greg. Many thanks for the heads-up. (As a measure of the popularity of THIS website, it took me quite a while to get though on the MoC link this morning!) I foresee many rainy afternoons, using this in conjunction with Rebecca Rose's hardcopy catalog. The range of flags depicted reminds me of the first time I entered old Battle Abbey, where the right-hand room upon entry housed the display of hanging flags, including remnants. I was staggered at the visual impact and stood there for many minutes, rooted in place. What a story lies behind these banners. How proud we can be that you and others of our generation are helping to tell the story. (And how Howie and Dev would have salivated to see these spreadsheets.)
