I don't have the whole set of "silver books", although they are some of my favorites, but I always seem to find something that looks a little more "scholarly"...right now I am doing a quick read of "Minnesota in the Civil War", and I am thinking of re-reading Foote's three volumes (that is my absolute favorite, although I understand some of the history is a little thin at times). Maybe for Christmas...

Any idea what the right side battle honor is? Is is 'CORINTH'? Do you know if the missing regiment designation would have read "2nd & 6th" or "2nd and 6th" or "2nd/6th" or something else?
