How would you feel about recommending Glenn's books to a young person or a person with a beginner to intermediate knowledge of the Civil War? I don't think Glenn promotes the books as definitive or "in depth" works. I do believe for the sake of quick reference and an enjoyable book to just flip through the pages and get accurate artist renderings of "most" of the flags included, the books do serve an important purpose.

Would you agree and if not, please elaborate.

BTW, thanks for the recent help on the Thomas Calhoun death claim.
