To Shawn and all others who took a look at my original message about the 148th New York, thank you! It is my pleasure to announce the regimental colors of the 148th have been found. Actually, they were never lost in the first place as it turns out. They are in State hands with the other New York regiment colors in Saratoga Springs,NY. Unfortuneatly, they have not been conserved yet but i will be doing all in my power to get the ball rolling on that! AGain, thanks to all of my fellow CW enthusiasts and pards who looked into my question.
