I have just run across these posts from November of "06. If you haven't already found the information you are looking for, I can help you. The 11th New Jersey Volunteers were infantry. the regiment was formed in the summer of 1862. I have photos of most of the 11th's flags that are held in storage in the NJ State House Museum.
