Does any one know what Confederate Units were at the Battle of Lynchburg, VA, June 17-18, 1864. The 9th West Virginia Infantry (Union) captured a Confederate National Flag during this battle and I am trying to determine what unit may have lost it. The West Virginia History & Culture is supposed to have this flag and is trying to preserve it.
