This pattern of CS flags is one that we have exceedingly little information about in terms of who made them, how long they saw service, etc.

I would suspect that theyw ere made "in the field" like many of the Hardee flags were by soldiers with tailoring skills, but cannot even prove that.

So it would be ahrd to say if they got a new flag of this type after its lose at Stones River based on sheer lack of any evidence.
