I've just tracked down a GGGS of Capt. Henry Wallace Crook who lives in Richmond, VA. I hope that he can shed some light on the whereabouts of the Company C ("True Confederates") of the 8th MS Inf. Regt. Will certainly let y'all know if anything comes up.
