This is the first flag of the 18th Tenn. Inf.
It was captured at Fort Donelson. The Photo
was taken on June 3, 1915 at Evergreen Cemetery
in Murfreesboro. The occasion being its return to the
survivors of the 18th by the yankee captors.
The flag survives today at the Tennessee State Museum.
