Hello,

Sure wish Dave Gaddy was still with us for this one, but the flag attributed to the CSS Nansemond (ANV 7th Bunting) I have deduced probably belonged to either Tucker's Naval Brigade (former warship crewmen from Charleston, SC who made their way to Richmond) OR the two company CS Marines battalion that manned the fort across the James River from Drewry's Bluff. Both units fought at Sailor's Creek where this flagw as taken.
