I would be very interested to know in which battle the flag was lost. I do not know of any units being in fights at Lebanon that lost a flag. in fact mentions of actions at Lebanon prior to January 1863 were Confederate victories. As far as actions at Murfreesboro, they had to be far from the main battle because I know of no cavalry action that resulted in a Confederate loss.
