11th Va amongst Picketts Division units, reportedly had a flag captured at Gettysburg. However conflicting accounts and opinions if they actually lost a flag there, or where that given flag ended up. If they did lose it, it doesn't appear to have been amongst the turned in WD flag grouping nor later returned to Va. One account claims the flag in question was privately retained and went through various auctions in the past, and said to currently be in a private collection.

Does anyone have any knowledge of if this flag actually exists and its general description if known?
