More details:

The flag came from an old house in Farmington, NJ and once belonged to a Mr. Hoffman.

It measures 40 3/4 inches by 71 1/2 inches. The smaller stars are 4 1/4 inches across while the larger star is 7 inches. Howard Madaus suspected that it came from North Carolina but this was speculation only.

Cowan's Auctions of Cincinnati sold it in September 2002.
