Hello again,

With the March 1864 date for this flag I was going to suggest a Second National flag as did happen to the 7th Tennessee Cavalry and the 18th Mississippi Cavalry Battalion, both of Forrest's Cavalry Corps at this time from ladies in Mississippi. Then I read the second posting that Ken did that described the Bowen flag.

The 7th Tennessee's Second National was torn up at war's end and the 18th Mississippi Cavalry Battalion hoisted their flag over Fort Pillow after its fall but lost it at Brice's Crossroads in June 1864 - where it is today I have no idea.
