If Woodard was using a "figure of speech"; he misspoke!
We should all stick to the facts.
These two men whom he called "deserters" were both listed
as members of the Color Guard and wounded at Chancellorsville.
Without some form of proof they should not be branded with
this shameful adjective.
If Woodard cannot produce the source for his statement; then the
shame belongs to him. His silence is deafening!!!!!!!!!!
