July 19, 1863, forwarded to Chimborazo Hosp. next day, returned to duty August 11, 1863, promoted Ensign & 1st Lieutenant April 18, 1864, captured at the Weldon R.R., August 21, 1864, committed to Old Capitol Prison, Washington, D. C. August 24, sent to Fort Delaware August 27, released on subscribing to the Oath June 17, 1865, resident of Adams County, Miss., sallow complexion, dark hair, grey eyes, 5’ 11”
