"Price on the 12th Va. Flag is $45,000. Considering its rarity and attribution, that is rather reasonable; as mentioned, it has been examined by the flag "powers that be". I have more info. from the family regarding the flag's provenance, including a signed synopsis of the flag's progress through the Bain family to its present location. I am attaching the overviews of the service records of the two Bain brothers, in the 12th Va., as well as some cursory research on the 12th Va. Note attached early images of Co. A, 12th Va. - the group, unit image was taken at Poplar Lawn Park."
