Thanks for the URL to this thesis.

There are still a few Mexican Army flags in US hands today, especially in Texas, and Mexico still holds US, Texian (including the New Orleans Greys flag taken at the Alamo), and Republic of Texas flags taken in the Texas-Mexico Border War of 1842. These can be seen in the very rare book "Banderas" which was published by the Mexican government for Mexican Army officers and museum people. I have a copy and know of two others that also have them.
