Flag Fans,
The following quote comes from a "Captain" who apparently
worked with the captured Confederate Flags in the War Dept.

"I may say that I believe, from personal observation, that some of
the captured flags now held by the War Department are NOT correctly
marked, for the reason that in arranging them at one time I personally
know some were remarked at a guess as to name of captor, time, and
place."
