In a recent "Civil War Quarterly" magazine dedicated to the battle of Brawner's Farm it states that the 26th Georgia Regiment suffered severe casualties when facing Union infantry and artillery, a figure that was over 70%! In their retreat from the field that day they left behind their colors, but I haven't found any source other than that indicating that it was either recovered or captured by the Federals.
