Flag bearer of 51st Georgia

In the Atlanta Medical and Surgical Journal of July 1866, James Jerrold Knott, previously surgeon in the 53rd Georgia, describes several cases of elbow wounds caused by gunshot during the war, which he treated. One of these, a Lieutenant "B," was described as a color bearer of the 51st Georgia. Knott only gives the first letter of the last name, but he did note that the Lieutenant received a gun shot wound through the left arm at the battle of Cedar Creek, where, it is surmised, he was carrying the colors. I will leave it to readers of this board to identify the officer.
