The book "Arms and Equipment of the Confederacy" shows a period woodcut of such a scene. All of the flags depicted in it are the Bowen/ Missouri pattern battle flags with Latin crosses. I also have a period newspaper account of the surrender describing these flags...which were blue by the way...at least for Bowen's Division. Stevenson's used red versions based on the surviving flag of the 39th Georgia which was smuggled out.
