20th Georgia color bearer James N. Robinson

Corporal James N. Robinson of Company B, 20th Georgia carried the colors of his regiment on July 1, 1862 in the battle of Malvern Hill, where he was wounded by a minie ball in the thigh, according to a biography in: Memoirs of Georgia: Containing Historical Accounts … Volume 1 (Atlanta, GA: The Southern Historical Association, 1895), pp. 404-405. (His CSR confirms that he was slightly wounded at Malvern Hill.) The article also states that as First Sergeant he commanded his company when the lines were broken in April 1865, in General Longstreet's presence; a few days later Robinson surrendered his company.
