Richard T Parker - Enlisted 6/26/1861, Age 17, Records indicate he was appointed Ensign (a new color bearer position) 4/20/1864, The letter from Lt Colonel Hamilton recommending Parker for the appointment states that "he has borne our colors in every engagement since the battle of Fredericksburg and always behaved with the greatest coolness and bravery in action", Camp Winder Hospital records then clearly show that he was mortally wounded 5/12/1864 at Spotsylvania and died in Richmond 5/20/1864, Buried at Richmond's Hollywood Cemetery section I lot# 206, Born about 1844 to Joseph R and Susan A Parker
