The period newspaper account I mentioned stated that they carried a First National in the attack on Battery Robinette. I would presume that this is the flag with the "Shiloh" battle honor.

I have no doubt they got a Texas state flag when they formed along with any other company flags of the time. What it looked like? Who knows.

As a related note, period Texas newspapers state that because so many people had moved to Texas after 1845 when it joined the union and the Republic of Texas flag fell by the wayside, that newspapers had to describe what that flag looked like so that people could make them again in late 1860 and into 1861. The vast majority of Texas Confederate soldiers were not born in Texas; the same for Arkansas Confederates.
