At the Battle of Cedar Creek on October 19, 1864, a "square" was attacked by the Alabama Brigade. In the middle of the square was a Union Corps flag that was described as "white with a red star in the center". Can anyone tell me which Corps this was? (I think the white designated the 1st Division of this Corps --- is that correct?)
